Evanston Therapy – What to Expect from Counseling and Therapy At Evanston Counseling

Have you been looking for the best therapist for you? Someone who is close to where you study, live or work in Evanston? Perhaps you Googled “Evanston therapists” and created a short list of those who seemed like a good fit. Even after doing this searching, you may have more questions than answers. This is to be expected. Completely! In our practice, we hear how difficult it can be to find someone who gets you and the anxiety you are dealing with. At Evanston Counseling, we are here to help. We want to make finding a therapist as easy as possible. Here are a few of the questions new clients ask us. The answers will help you find the best therapist for you.

Evanston Therapy FAQ #1 Do you take my insurance?

Therapists in Evanston hear this question frequently. We get it! You want to be able to work with your Evanston therapist as long as you need, and also want to make sure it is affordable. You want to see changes in your life and get relief from what is troubling you.

When you call for your free consultation, we can fill you in on the details of our fees. You’ll know right away if therapy will fit into your budget. What you are dealing with will take time to heal. You’ll want to know that finances won’t get in the way of making significant progress.

Would you like to use your out-of-network benefits? At Evanston Counseling, we provide a service to help you. This service will allow you to easily and quickly submit to your insurance company to be reimbursed for any out-of-network benefits. You’ll want to verify your out-of-network benefits with your insurance company. They can give you a better idea of your reimbursement. This figure varies by company. Want to know more about what is important to know about your out of network benefits, check out our blog here or give us a call to see how we can help you figure it all out.

Evanston Therapy FAQ #2 When I come to see you, what will happen?

At Evanston Counseling, we know you have a gold mine of personal strengths. We’ll do a thorough assessment to determine how your skills will guide you toward successfully managing any struggles you’re facing. Though we won’t dwell there, we pull back a few layers of your past pain and experiences to see how they might be showing up in your life today.

At the following weekly sessions, we’ll work toward meeting the goals we’ve set together. During your therapy in Evanston, we’ll choose the method we feel will heal your relationships, ease your stress or depression or help you battle your addiction. Most often, we use relationship therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy.

You will soon discover that you aren’t alone, and we are right here with you. Prepare to share your struggles, and ultimately dip into who you are and what you want in your life.

Evanston Therapy FAQ #3 Can you help me with my anxiety and loneliness?
