Catherine Boyce, Ph.D

Executive Director & Evanston Therapist

(She/Her)

Hi I am Catherine! I help women and others who feel isolated, anxious, and overwhelmed in their lives to find more happiness, satisfaction, and self-acceptance. I have been doing this for 27 years and love my work.

In my practice, I encourage my clients to look outside of themselves to see they are not helpless and to look within themselves to understand patterns of behavior that may be interfering in their relationships and choices. I can help you become more aware and accepting of yourself and others. This self-acceptance will reduce stress and anxiety so that you can feel empowered to take on new challenges and create a more meaningful life for yourself.

I specialize in working with women who are struggling with life transitions, relationships, motherhood, and grief. Change, loss and the search for connection are all parts of the shared human experience.

My life outside of the office is very much influenced by what goes on in my practice. I have grown a lot through my counseling work and leave my office happy to think about my clients and their lives. I also value family, friendship and community, and love opportunities to spend time with the people and pets I care about.
