Alexa Castillo, MA
Evanston Therapist
(She/Her)
Hi, I’m Alexa! I help individuals who are feeling anxious, stressed, or grief-ridden to find a sense of calm, empowerment, and inner strength. My work is centered around offering empathetic and culturally attuned care that genuinely resonates with who you are and where you are in your life.
I specialize in guiding individuals through anxiety, stress management, and trauma while also offering heartfelt support for those experiencing grief. Whether you’re dealing with everyday pressures or confronting more profound challenges, I’m here to help you create meaningful, lasting change. For those grieving the loss of a loved one, I provide compassionate care to help you navigate complex emotions and find your path to healing.
In our work together, I will help you explore your strengths and vulnerabilities, as real transformation happens when we embrace all parts of ourselves. I deeply believe in your resilience and am committed to working with you to uncover the inner resources that already exist within you. My approach is holistic, integrating mind, body, and inner self through person-centered and narrative therapies, as well as trauma-informed care. As a bilingual therapist fluent in English and Spanish, I am passionate about providing support that honors each individual’s unique background, ensuring you feel understood and valued.
Outside my practice, I find joy in books, puzzles, and arts & crafts, with a soft spot for almond milk lattes, chocolate, and the color red. These are the things that make me, me. But what truly inspires me is being part of your healing journey and supporting you in taking that first empowering step.
